...another annual guild quilt retreat. I'm glad they only happen once a year because I always come home Sunday absolutely exhausted. Sunday night I went to bed at 9:30 and didn't get up till 10:30 the next morning.
I wish I could say that I'm exhausted because I worked super hard and got lots done. But then that would be a lie. I worked on a little of this and a little of that and only managed to finish a few projects...projects that were mostly finished to begin with.
My Cathedral Window pillow finally has it's ruffle. While I'm not a ruffle person, I really felt this particular pillow needed it. I'm happy with the result...don't know what I'm going to do with it but I'm happy.
Next I finished these two totes bags that I've had partially done for at least four years. The black and yellow one is my favorite. I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out.
Unfortunately that's all I have to show of my work because I forgot to take pictures of the other things I worked on. So how about I show you pictures I managed to get of some of the other gals' work?
Donna's quilt...I don't know what to call this thing but I love it! I am thinking it would look awesome in Denyse Schmidt prints...Flea Market Fancy or maybe her new Chicopee line.
Linda's cute little baby quilt...a great project to use a jelly roll for!
Liz's quilt...the blocks are made from jelly rolls strips and background yardage.
This quilt was probably my favorite. I love all the red and black prints and the scrappy look of it.
It was made by Marsha's sister-in-law whose name escapes me. I'm so terrible with names.
And finally here are the Block Lotto blocks we all made. Mine is bottom row, second from the right.
Here's a closer look of mine before I added corner stones.
I'm sorry to say that's all I have. I'll try to take more pictures next year...good luck with that...LOL.
Hope y'all have a great week!
Till next time...

Beautiful pillow.
Hope you had lots and lots of fun.
Your cathedral window pillow is gorgeous. Love going to retreats but you are so right, you need a vacation after going just to recuperate.
Happy you had such a great time.
That is a fabulous pillow! Absolutely fabulous!
