Two milestones in ONE day

How often does that happen?

Today is both the one year anniversary of my blog and my 100th post!  I won't go into some long philosophical discuss about what blogging means to me.  I'll just say this...I've enjoyed the past year of  blogging and am grateful for friendships that I've made.  And I am looking forward to the next!

Enough mooshy stuff!  Let's get to the giveaway.  For you faithful 16 (and any anonymous lurkers), I present 12 Days of Christmas by Kate Spain for Moda.  The winner will receive the twelve fat quarters and two yards of red you see (plus a few other goodies).

I had agonized over what to give away but as soon as I saw this fabric I knew it was perfect...call it a little Christmas in July.  So what do you have to do win?  Here's how you can earn three chances to win.  For each one you complete, you'll receive one chance.

1.  The wind blows at 9am, the sun rises at 9am. It's now 10am. What color was the wind and sun at 9?
2.  How many dollars are in an exactly critical nuclear reactor?  (DH's contribution...what the heck!)
3.  Email me a map of Uraguay (because I'm thinking about going there)
4.  Find me a web link to the perfect portable iron pad.  (I had to have SOMETHING quilt related)

Ok ok ok...just kidding.

Really all you have to do is leave a comment.  Although...if you want to follow my blog or are already a follower, I'll give you another chance.  And if you want to blog about my giveaway and you tell me about it, I'll give you a third chance.

On Friday, July 9th, I'll pick a winner.

Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

The wind is whatever color you want it to be; Don't know about the dollars - make up a number that works for you. Don't go to Uraguay I hear it's crowded with tourists because it's "the" vacation destination; make your own portable iron pad (cover a piece of plywood with batting then cute fabric - done) Did I forget anything? LOL - really LOL

Just send the cute fat quarters and red fabric to me and no one will get hurt. Do it NOW.

Happy Blogiversary!!!!

LOL I like Darlene's answers except a great lightweight portable ironing pad is an empty fabric bolt covered with a thick towel and then put in a pillowcase~ everything is washable, the cardboard is recyclable. ;-) I am a very happy follower! Love your choice of fabrics! :-)) Happy blogiversary/100 posts!!

Such cute fabric. Is it already time to work on Christmas? I just finished my quilt from last year.

Such fun fabric! I arrived here sent by Barb and am so glad. Win or no win it is always nice to find a new blog worth reading.

It is nice to meet you Monica- Congratulations on your bloganniversary and 100th post- both are wonderful milestones.
I came here through Barb's blog and have become a follower.
Your questions were indeed interesting and I wondered how I might be able to answer such challenges. The sun is the same color from one hour to the next- its the sky that changes or the vantage point or whether there is a solar eclipse or whether you can see any prominences? ( Can you tell I am married to an amateur astronomer? LOL
Thanks for the chance to win your very nice fabrics- you will make someone very happy when you choose their name.
You can find my blog at http://quiltmomsjourney.blogspot.com/

Congratulations on your one year and 100th post anniversaries. I am a lurker and you can say "gotcha" on those questions, especially with the first two comments answering them. Please enter me into your giveaway. Thanks for making me laugh.

Geez, after watching through the wormhole last night, I am spooked enough without questions about the wind color ( I truly did not understand about time/going backwards etc) and the conductor at CERN .... no mention of cost of such a thing- so I don't have a clue about an answer to DH question, and ....go to Hawaii!, wrap a towel around a kitchen cutting board to press in a pinch...and count me in! LOL- Christmas in July is sooooo appropriate- it is my daughter's birthday (today actually) and has always been a happy month. Congrats on your blog- I'm following, but I don't blog ;( Sandy in MD

I just visited Barbs blog (Bejewelled Quilts by Barb) and saw you had a giveaway for such lovely fabric...how could I resist not coming and trying to win....YIKES...questions? Phew, you were just trying to see who the strong and mighty were....those of us, who kept reading, even after breaking into a cold sweat at the thought of having to strain our brains and try and think of answers! I'm now a follower of your blog myself, and look forward to seeing the answers of your questions...oh and all your fabulous works! Alas, I'll just have to make do with 2 entries, as it's 9th July here in Australia, probably not enough time for people to see a link on my blog. Good luck to everyone, but I do hope I win this one, I love love love that fabric. Hugs Naomi
