Playing Hooky is FUN

I love Cracked Pots but I need a break...especially after finishing the 20 house blocks required!

So the past couple days I've been playing hooky from it.  I've started making half-square triangle blocks...1200 to be exact...for my Ocean Waves quilt that I cut out months ago and haven't had a chance to work on.

And yesterday I started on this...

It will eventually become a 16" pillow.  My goal is to have to it completed today...fingers crossed.

What are you working on today?

1200 half square triangles! I think you are going to get tired of making those. But an Ocean Waves quilt will be worth it in the long run.

I can't wait to see your Cracked Pots come to life. I am done with the houses so I put it away till next month.

I would love to see your Cracked Pots and the Ocean Waves, sounds like a lot of work, but also sounds breath-taking.

I know what you mean about getting bored of the same thing. Some times you have to take a break so that you can come back with a better perspective/attitude toward the project.
This is VERY different. I love it. It is bright and funky and clean. Very cool.

WOW 1200 HST, I need to do 600 for a project I am working on, and I thought that was waaaaayyy to many. Then I looked at your soon to be pillow, would you please share on how you put the blue under the windows! I love that look even more than the traditional way. I will be watching for info on this.
