What I'm Working On

Well the new diamond quilt is almost done.  Here's what it looks like so far.  All I need to do now is cut the setting triangles and borders, and then start sewing.

I made this little postcard over the weekend.  It's going to a very nice lady in France that found me on Flickr and asked me if I was interested in swapping.

I bought a couple new patterns that came in the mail yesterday from the Fat Quarter Shop.  I've been wanting them for a long while and am really excited.  The first one is Sweet Tea by Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.  I plan to do it in mostly Civil War Prints and a cream background.

The other pattern is Josephine's Sampler by Lori Smith of From My Heart to Your Hands.  I just love her patterns.  I'm not sure what fabrics I want to use.  I have a Shangri La fat quarter bundle (1st pic) and a Renewal fat quarter bundle (2nd pic) that the pattern would both look good in.

Opinions anyone?

Oh my gosh, Monica...way too many beautiful things for one post.

Okay, where do I start?

1. Your diamond quilt is simply awesome.

2. The postcard is too cute for words.

3. Any quilt would look good in Civil War fabrics...IMHO.

4. I love the Shangri La range...I think it is one of my all time favorites and it's very difficult to come by now. The Renewal range is gorgeous too. Now that's a tough call between the two. Flip a coin!

Gorgeous stuff!

I agree with Kaaren! Too many beauties here to comment on! LOL Love your diamond top~ I'm sewing diamonds this weekend too. ;-) And I love the bluebirds! Very cute little postcard! Your patterns both look like fun~ I think you'll have to close your eyes and pick the FQ bundle. ;-) Happy stitching!

Wowzer, look at all the wonderful goodies and treasures.

Ithink Sweet Tea will look fabulous in Civil War prints.

I like Renewal and Shangri-La - tough choice. I'll be looking forward to your decision.
